Friction Material
Our company produces and provides natural flake graphite for semi-metal friction materials. Since the 70s, semi-metallic friction materials have been widely used in clutches and automatic linings. Semi-metallic friction materials are made by bonding graphite and metal powder, steel fiber, and clay powder with synthetic resin. These automatic liners are primarily used in high-speed equipment such as brakes and clutch pads in airplanes, trucks, and off-road vehicles. In recent years, asbestos has been gradually replaced by graphite, and in some semi-metallic linings, the content of graphite has increased from 1% to 2% to centrivorous. Graphite consumption in this area depends on the state of development of the automotive industry.
